Sebamed Shampoo Causes Facial Redness Burning and Stinging

On August 24, 2026, I used Sebamed anti-hair-loss shampoo for the first time. Immediately after a single use, I began experiencing intense redness, stinging, and burning on my face and body. Although I did not apply the product directly to either my face or body, I developed particularly noticeable redness and irritation on my face. This situation negatively affected both my physical well-being and my emotional state.
I purchased the product from Watsons. When I contacted both Sebamed and Watsons customer service regarding the issue, my refund request was rejected. I was told, in a dismissive and almost confrontational tone, that I had simply experienced a “personal allergy” and that I needed to provide a doctor's report. I was not given any meaningful assistance.
I have also seen many consumers on different platforms reporting similar experiences, including significant facial irritation and burning after using this product. It is unacceptable for dozens of people experiencing similar reactions to the same product to be dismissed simply as cases of “personal allergy.”
Due to the skin problems I experienced after using Sebamed anti-hair-loss shampoo, I request a refund of the amount I paid for the product. I strongly object to the dismissive treatment I received from these two major corporate brands and expect my complaint to be taken seriously. I also request that my experience, along with similar complaints from other consumers, be properly investigated and that the necessary action be taken.
