Sebamed Baby Shampoo Eyeburning Complaint

April 2, 2024 10:25 AM332

Sebamed's infant shampoo, promoted as a tear-free formula, proved to be anything but gentle for our family. Even grownups find it stinging in their eyes! When I contacted Sebamed customer service, they advised us to keep our eyes closed. However, newborns' reflexes differ from those of healthy adults. They do not close their eyes naturally, which is why tear-free shampoo is favored. However, my 2.5-year-old daughter, whose eyes are already closed during baths, is still irritated. Despite numerous online complaints, Sebamed fails to explain why its apparently dermatologically certified "gentle formula" burns the eyes. We will take this issue to consumer rights authorities, requesting refunds and regulatory reviews. Consumers deserve transparency and safety!
