I Can’t Change My Email for GTA V on Rockstar Games Despite Having Deleted the Old One
I purchased GTA V via Epic Games and played it for a long time without any issues. Recently, I had to change the email address on my Epic Games account. That went smoothly—even though I permanently deleted the old email. However, when it comes to Rockstar Games, everything turned into a nightmare.
Since Rockstar only allows support communication via email, I submitted four different requests asking them to update my email. In every case, they replied saying they sent a verification code to my old email and could only proceed if I confirmed it. But I clearly stated that the old email is no longer accessible. Yet each response completely ignored that fact and repeated the same unhelpful instructions.
This repetitive and robotic support is unacceptable from a major gaming company. I simply want to update my Rockstar account email so I can continue enjoying the game I paid for. If Epic Games can handle this process effortlessly, why can’t Rockstar?
Rockstar, please step up and assist your users properly. I’m asking for a basic account fix—this shouldn’t be such a painful experience.
