GTA Online Says “This Player Is Not in a Session” When I Join a Friend

To the Rockstar Games Support Team,

I play GTA Online on PC through Epic Games. Since yesterday, whenever I try to accept my friend’s invitation, the system displays the message “This player is not in a session” and automatically sends me to an empty server. Both my friend and I can access GTA Online normally, but we cannot join each other’s invitations.

We are both using the same fully updated version of the game, which is the latest Enhanced edition. The problem only occurs when I try to join my friend’s invitation. I have no general problems launching the game or accessing GTA Online. However, my friend continues to appear as though they are not playing, preventing us from joining the same session.

I am requesting that Rockstar Games inspect both my account and my friend’s account, identify the cause of the “This player is not in a session” error, and provide a permanent solution that allows us to connect to the same server and play together without further problems.
