Rocket League Matchmaking Glitch Pairs Platinum Players Against Smurf Accounts

I have been playing Rocket League through Epic Games for a long time, and over the past 8 to 9 months, my gaming experience has been completely ruined by unfair matchmaking and toxic players.

Particularly in the 2v2 mode at the Platinum 2 rank, I am constantly matched against smurf accounts. While the opposing team gets highly skilled players using alt accounts, I am frequently paired with teammates who lack basic game knowledge or contribute nothing to the match. Some teammates go AFK before the match even begins, while others do nothing during gameplay and resort to insulting me with toxic and disrespectful behavior.

I have reported these players using both the in-game reporting system and customer support, but I have never received a single follow-up response or any indication that penalties were enforced. This total lack of transparency completely erodes my trust in the report system and kills my motivation to keep playing.

This situation creates the impression that the company does not care about the problems players face, and I believe this negligence will cause significant player loss in the long run. If this continues, I plan to quit the game entirely and warn others in my network to think twice before starting Rocket League. I demand that the matchmaking system be reviewed, that stricter measures be taken against smurf accounts and toxic players, that a transparent feedback mechanism be implemented to confirm reports are actually investigated, and that I receive a detailed response regarding this matter.
