Roborock Q8 Max Pro Repeated Charging Failure After Service

On 6 January 2026, I purchased a Roborock Q8 Max Pro robot vacuum cleaner from TeknoSA’s Cepa store. Shortly after the purchase, the device stopped charging, became completely unusable and I had to take it to the TeknoSA Cepa store on 22 April 2026, after which it was sent to the service centre. The device was returned to me on 21 May 2025 with the information that no fault had been found, and in the store it seemed to be working. When I took the product home and used it in my living room, it returned to its dock when the battery level dropped, and I assumed it was charging. After waiting for a while, I realised that the device was not charging at all and that none of the indicator lights were on. I immediately took it back to the TeknoSA Cepa store, showed the staff that it was not working, and the product was sent to the service again. My product tracking number is TH777344. The device, which I handed over again on 21 May 2026, is still at the service centre and has not been returned. I do not want to continue using a robot vacuum cleaner that malfunctioned only three months after purchase and had to be sent to service twice in such a short time. In the same house, I previously used the Roborock S5 Max model for 6 years without any issues. In contrast, with this newly purchased device, I experienced problems such as going to different places than its map, not being able to find its dock during use, and the recurring issue of not charging and not operating even after supposedly charging. For these reasons, I believe that the problems with this device will persist even if it is repaired. Since my product keeps malfunctioning and no permanent solution has been provided despite two service attempts, I request that my Roborock Q8 Max Pro robot vacuum cleaner be replaced with a new one or, if possible, that a full refund be issued. I am directing this complaint to both TeknoSA and Roborock, and I expect a definitive and lasting solution to this problem.
