Rimmel London won’t open without ruining the product, any tips to open it safely?

If a Rimmel London product won't open, it's usually because the mixture has dried and created a vacuum seal around the top or wand.

Instead of forcing it, try to hold the closed product up and slowly twist it back and forth. This is better than applying a lot of pressure, which can quickly break the applicator or make too much product come out.

If you warm the cap a little bit, you can get it off without breaking anything. So, for 20 to 30 seconds, put just the cap (not the whole tube) under warm running water. Then, dry it off and twist it slowly.

Do not use pliers, knives, or other tools, because they can crack the packaging, contaminate the product, and make it dangerous to use.
