Our company currently has 8 vehicles of the same brand. We provide authorized service of X brand. The logic in buying a new vehicle is to avoid suffering in cases of malfunctions etc. We do not think that a new car is bought and will never break down, everything can break down, malfunction, but we update our fleet with the idea that the manufacturer guarantees these situations and will repair the part with a manufacturing defect free of charge and with original parts. The first vehicle I had a problem with is Renault Express, which is 2023 5th month traffic exit. All periodic maintenance has been done at Sakarya Ernaz authorized service and the vehicle exited from Ernaz authorized sales dealer. When we took the vehicle for annual maintenance (32,000 km) for the noise complaint coming from the belt section that started at 20,000 km, I informed the service consultant about the situation. When I went to pick up the vehicle after the maintenance, they said that we cleaned the belt area, there was dust, the problem was solved. I took my vehicle and went to the company. After about 1 week, the sound started to reoccur. By the way, I am definitely not talking about the rear shock absorber sound, there has been no solution to this sound since the first time we started the engine. Anyway, the sound started again after the cleaning. On 04.03.2025, I took the vehicle to Ernaz authorized service again only for the sound in the belt area and it was cleaned. The problem was fixed, the tensioner bearing was cleaned, these situations can happen, etc. They said. Of course, one cannot help but think, we have been driving for years. We have neither heard of such a situation from our surroundings nor experienced it before, we will have the belt and tensioner bearing cleaned every time it gets dusty :). Anyway, I took delivery of the vehicle, drove 6 km and did not use it for two days (vehicle tracking records are available). I started the vehicle two days later to check, the timing cover is shaking, I think the installation was incomplete after the intervention and surprisingly the sound is coming from the vehicle again. I contacted the service, they said to bring it back. As a result, they sent an approval proforma for the 17,800₺ timing and accessory belt replacement fee for the vehicle with warranty.
