Philips AC3033/10 Air Purifier Gives Off Putrid Smell

Hello, I purchased a Philips AC3033/10 Air Purifier and began using it in the baby's room. Within 2 months, the product malfunctioned and started emitting a foul odor. I took it to the authorized service center, where they made irrelevant comments about exposure to cigarettes or hookah and refused to replace the filter. I strongly advise against using this brand and product; do not make the purchase.
