PdfGuru Charged Me After Trial Despite PDF Tool Not Working
I recently started a trial with PdfGuru through their website pdfguru.com to resize a PDF document on 6 May 2026. During the trial period, I was unable to download the document I was working on, despite attempting this around four times. The service did not function as expected, and I could not properly use the tool. Despite these issues, on 13 May 2026 I was unexpectedly charged 49.99 USD for a subscription. I had not been able to benefit from the service due to the technical problems and I also found it difficult to locate a clear option to unsubscribe in time. I contacted PdfGuru customer support at [email protected] using the email address wak***@gmail.com and requested a refund. In response, they informed me that my subscription had been cancelled and offered me 2 years of free access instead of addressing my refund request. While I appreciate the gesture, this is not a solution for me because I was charged for a service that did not work properly in the first place. I kindly request a full refund of the 49.99 USD that was charged on 13 May 2026 to my account, as the service was unusable for my intended purpose and I do not wish to continue using PdfGuru under any plan.
