Oral-B Pro 3D White Toothpaste Caused Mouth Irritation

I am writing regarding an issue I experienced after using Oral-B Pro 3D White Intensive Whitening Toothpaste.

I started using this toothpaste approximately two weeks ago. After about five to six days of use, I developed significant swelling and sores on my gums and inside my mouth.

After I stopped using the toothpaste, my symptoms gradually began to improve. My spouse, who was also using the same toothpaste, experienced similar symptoms. Since both of us developed comparable reactions shortly after beginning to use the product, I am concerned that the toothpaste may contain an ingredient that caused irritation or an adverse reaction.

We purchased the product from a retail store. Before using this toothpaste, neither of us had experienced this type of oral health problem. The fact that the same symptoms appeared in both of us shortly after we started using the product has caused us considerable concern.

I respectfully request that Oral-B investigate the formulation of Pro 3D White Intensive Whitening Toothpaste, review any similar consumer reports, and determine whether any ingredient may be associated with these types of reactions.

If appropriate, I also encourage Oral-B to review the product formulation and to provide consumers with clearer information regarding possible side effects, sensitivities, or oral irritation. Any necessary warnings should be made more visible so that consumers can make informed decisions before using the product.
