Unauthorized Opodo Subscription Charge Through PayPal Sparks Complaint

I purchased a flight ticket through Opodo for an AJet flight from Munich to Istanbul on July 29. While purchasing the ticket, I did not sign up for any membership, nor did I agree to any trial period or subscription. Despite this, on February 27, 2026, I received an email stating that €109.99 had been charged to my PayPal account under the name of a “membership renewal.”

I informed Opodo that this charge was completely unauthorized and that I had never approved such a membership. However, they claimed that my membership had been automatically extended because I exceeded a 7-day trial period and that they could not issue a refund. Despite repeatedly stating that I never signed up for any membership and do not accept this situation, my request was denied.

I request the immediate cancellation of this unauthorized membership and a full refund of the €109.99 charged to my PayPal account.
