Old Spice Captain Gel Deodorant Permanently Ruined My Shirts With Underarm Stains
I experienced a major issue with my clothes caused by Old Spice deodorants, a brand I have loved and used exclusively for years. I have been using Old Spice Captain Anti-White Marks gel deodorant for a long time and always purchase my deodorants in 6-packs, never using any other brand.
Recently, my wife noticed large and small white stains under the armpits of my t-shirts. At first, I didn't pay much attention, assuming they would come out in the wash, but over time we realized these stains are permanent. When I inspected my older t-shirts individually, I discovered that 7 to 8 shirts have been rendered unwearable in public due to these white underarm stains. They are especially noticeable on non-black colors, which is why I failed to notice them sooner.
Despite trying various stain removers and different washing methods, these stains simply will not come out. I suspect the product causes a chemical reaction when combining with sweat, though I cannot understand the exact cause. This situation has caused me genuine financial and emotional distress, as many of my clothes are now virtually ruined.
I expect appropriate compensation from Old Spice for my damaged clothing, alongside a clear explanation regarding this situation. I want to know whether there was a formulation change, a drop in quality, or what the exact cause of these stains is, and I demand that my grievance be taken into serious account.
