OkCupid Sent Me a Verification Code for an Account I Never Created
On May 20, 2026, at 1:47 a.m., I received a verification code text message from the OkCupid app on my phone number 0507 *** ** 004. I have never registered for OkCupid, created an account, or given anyone permission to use my phone number for this service.
I believe my phone number has been used without my knowledge or consent, and I am very concerned about this incident. I request that OkCupid investigate how and by whom my phone number was used, ensure that my personal information is not processed or used without my authorization, and permanently remove my phone number from your systems.
I also want to make it clear that I do not accept any responsibility for any account, activity, or consequences that may arise from the unauthorized use of my phone number.
