NIVEA SPF 50+ Sunscreen Failed to Protect My Skin
On June 1, 2026, I purchased NIVEA Sun Protect & Moisture SPF 50+ Sunscreen, 200 mL from the seller Bayarlar Grup on N11, under order #203897473335. When I used the product at the beach on June 27, 2026, I noticed that instead of protecting my skin from the sun, the areas where I had applied the sunscreen became much more severely sunburned than expected.
After just one day at the beach, I developed serious sunburns and blisters on both my face and body. The sunscreen completely failed to provide the level of protection I expected, and I am concerned that the product may be counterfeit. I have not yet visited a medical provider; instead, I have been treating the burns at home with Hametan and Sudocrem in an attempt to relieve the symptoms.
I am requesting a full refund for the product and a thorough investigation into whether this sunscreen is counterfeit or otherwise defective so that other consumers do not experience the same problem. I also ask that the product's authenticity be verified, that appropriate action be taken regarding the seller if necessary, and that I receive a clear explanation regarding the outcome of the investigation and my complaint.
