Nextdoor Suspended My Account for Abbreviating My Name and Ignored My Concerns

Having used Nextdoor for a long time, I first thought the site useful for local updates; unfortunately, my experience has lately dropped. I posted a few weeks ago on a community topic, but instead of thoughtful comments and responses, I got personal insults and nasty remarks from other members. Things got more out of hand when I sought to change my privacy settings to restrict who could view my complete name only to discover the function wasn't working. Then, without notice, my account was suspended as I used a shortened form of my name for personal privacy concerns. When I contacted Nextdoor assistance, their reply was slow and ineffective. This site has become a haven for negativity overall, not worth the effort.
