Solo Queue Imbalances and Unpunished Toxicity Fuel Complaints in Mobile Legends

I have been playing Mobile Legends for many years, nearly 10 years. While I did not experience as many problems in the past, the matchmaking system introduced in recent updates has rendered the game completely unplayable. Even though I perform well, the system operates so imbalancely that instead of providing entertainment, the game has become purely infuriating.

Especially when I queue solo in ranked mode, I am constantly matched with players who lack fundamental game knowledge, throw matches, go AFK, or fail to take the game seriously. In contrast, the opposing side is routinely assigned strong, coordinated, and balanced teams. Even if I win a few matches in a row, I am immediately matched with such unbalanced teams afterward and forced into a losing streak. I encounter similar issues in classic mode as well.

Furthermore, there are AFK players, situations where I suspect cheating, and users who continuously insult, curse, and harass others in-game. Despite this, the system fails to impose adequate penalties on these offenders. Whenever I attempt to reach out to the support team, I am unable to connect with a representative, leaving me with the impression that my concerns are completely ignored.

Additionally, despite it being a 5-player game, I can never assemble or find a compatible, objective-minded squad when trying to build a team. As a result, I am forced to play solo most of the time and suffer losses due to team composition imbalances. On top of that, I feel that damage and support items—and overall item-damage balance—are inefficiently tuned, with certain items being virtually useless.

I demand that the Mobile Legends team make the matchmaking system fairer and more balanced, implement effective measures against AFKs and cheating, enforce stricter penalties for toxic and abusive language, and review/buff the item and damage balances. Additionally, if possible, I request the introduction of an age restriction to foster a more mature and respectful in-game environment.
