Mental Impulse Charged Me After Confirming My Subscription Was Canceled
I had an active subscription with Impulse, which I believe was related to a brain‑training or “brain test” type service. During my free trial and the first paid month, I repeatedly tried to cancel my subscription and have my payment information removed. I contacted Impulse support by email and clearly requested that my subscription be cancelled and that my card details be deleted from their system. Support replied to me and confirmed that my subscription would be cancelled. They informed me that it was too late to refund the first month’s subscription fee that followed the free trial, but they assured me that my subscription and payment details would be removed afterwards. Despite this written assurance, on June 30, 2026, the amount of 39.99 was still charged to my card ending in 4164 in the name of Edward L***, linked to the email address dahe***[email protected]. Because Impulse continued to charge me after confirming that my account would be cancelled and my payment details removed, I consider this charge unauthorized and contrary to what was promised. I request an immediate full refund of the 39.99 taken on June 30, 2026, the complete cancellation of my subscription, removal of my card information from your systems, and written confirmation that no further charges will be made.
