Meditopia Direct Billing Charge Refuses Standard Apple App Store Refund Procedure
I was using the free trial of the Meditopia application, and the end date of the trial was clear from the start; since I specifically knew I would not continue, I did not expect any charge. Despite this, on May 15, 2026, at 18:04, an amount of 2,100 TRY was deducted from my bank account via the Ödera payment infrastructure. The transaction reference number listed on the receipt is 5159******92.
On Meditopia’s own website, it states that refund requests must be submitted through Apple; however, in my Apple account, this membership appears as free, and no collection was made via Apple. In other words, the charge was deducted directly from my bank account through Ödera, rather than Apple. Furthermore, I am not even using the application.
Regarding the specified transaction, I demand that the fee of 2,100 TRY—deducted without my permission or consent—be fully and urgently refunded to my bank account through Ödera, and that I be informed of any necessary steps involved in this process.
