LG W4W8BVKKWHM Washer-Dryer Delivered Damaged And Refund Delayed



On November 19, 2025, the LG W4W8BVKKWHM.ABWPLTK washer-dryer I purchased from Media Markt was found damaged when the service team unboxed it for installation. There were multiple dents and defects on the body and top of the machine. The service technicians did not file a report; they only said they would notify LG. Since that day, I have not received any response from either LG or the service. Even though my product is brand new and under warranty, I have been left completely stuck. My invoice number is Y1G2025000002734. Media Markt says they are waiting for a report from LG, so my refund process is not progressing either. I specifically chose to buy from the physical store instead of online because I trusted Media Markt and wanted to avoid the risk of receiving a damaged product. Ironically, the item still arrived damaged. I now feel I made the wrong decision because I believed buying from the store would be safer, but this experience has left me deeply let down. We did nothing wrong except make a purchase, yet we are being told to wait nearly 10 days. Living without a washing machine is extremely difficult with two small children at home. The transportation and unboxing were done entirely by authorized staff, yet we are the ones suffering the consequences. I request that my product be refunded as soon as possible and that my grievance be resolved promptly.
