On July 25, I purchased the LG SNH5 model Soundbar from Vatan Bilgisayar branch in Batıkent. When I set up the system, which was delivered to me as a closed box, at home, I noticed that there was a bass much higher than normal. Until August 7, I tested it with various devices and various listeners to see if there was a problem. Then, I took the system to Vatan Bilgisayar Batıkent branch where I bought it to return the device. The relevant staff stated that they could not provide a return of the device and that it could only be replaced if there was a problem by sending it to service. In the tests I conducted with the same model display product in the relevant branch, I determined through 2 different listeners, again apart from myself, that there was a huge difference between the sound produced by the system delivered to me and the display product, by selecting the same hardware and connection type. During the service process, I viewed the information that the device had reached the branch from Vatan Bilgisayar's online tracking system. Since there was no change, I called customer service and asked for information about my product. Customer service stated that the product had been sent to a previously closed service by mistake, that it would be sent back to Vatan Bilgisayar branch and sent to another LG service again. Since the service process of the product was prolonged and no changes were visible in the online system, I called Vatan Bilgisayar Customer Service. They stated that the relevant product was in service and gave me the service's contact number. When I contacted the service, they stated that there was no problem as a result of the tests performed on the product and that the product would be sent back as it arrived without any processing. Thereupon, no information was given other than the answer I received from the service as a result of my conversation with LG customer service. At the end of this process, I was victimized by LG and Vatan Bilgisayar. I hope that the return/replacement of the Sound System, which is clearly defective and manufactured by LG and sold by Vatan Bilgisayar and is still in the relevant service, will be processed and that these two distinguished companies, which I have been shopping with for years, will not leave a bad impression with this frivolity.
I had left a complaint record with the LG headquarters, and the service was supposed to conduct another inspection. Today, I was called and they said they had re-checked and found no issues. They are adamant that they tested the faulty device and found no problems. When I looked into other LG complaints, I saw similar things being written. It seems likely that the service is only checking whether there is a sound or not. No solution is being offered.
