I Face League of Legends Chat Restriction Over Unjust Report
On September 5, 2025, while playing League of Legends on PC, I was unfairly given a one-week chat restriction (mute). During the match, another player kept using offensive and insulting language, and all I said in response was “stop talking nonsense.” I did not use any profanity or insults beyond that.
After the incident, I contacted Riot Games Support, and they informed me that the penalty was valid and would last for one week. However, in a game environment where players constantly use harsh language and insults, receiving such a severe punishment for just two words feels extremely disproportionate and unfair. I have received penalties in the past and accepted them as justified, but this particular case feels excessive.
I am requesting that this penalty be reviewed once again, and if possible, lifted or reduced to a lighter, warning-level punishment. I kindly ask Riot Games to reconsider this issue and resolve the unfair disciplinary action on my account.
