My child is a 6th-grade student, and about a year ago we enrolled him in the Kodland education platform to receive software development training. Since then, we have been organizing our class schedule and even our family’s social life around Kodland’s lesson times. However, we have been experiencing serious difficulties when it comes to makeup classes for times when my child cannot attend a lesson.
When we have a valid reason—for example, when my child cannot attend class due to a written exam week—and we inform the instructor in advance and request a makeup class, we are told that instructors do not offer such an option and that we should contact customer service for information. I see that there is no clear or institutional system explaining how, when, or under what conditions makeup classes are provided. I have been experiencing the same issue regarding makeup classes for approximately the past four months.
During this process, I also contacted customer service, but I did not receive any meaningful feedback, and I encountered a very unprofessional structure in terms of problem resolution. After the enrollment stage, neither the child nor the parents receive regular updates regarding the education process, and there is a significant lack of engagement and follow-up.
I request that Kodland arrange makeup classes for the lessons my child was unable to attend, or, if such makeup classes will not be provided, that the fees for those missed lessons be refunded to me.
