The expert on JustAnswer never followed up after my question—how can I escalate this and get compensation?

If you asked a question on JustAnswer and the expert never replied, log in and cancel your membership by going to My Account → Membership → Cancel. This will stop your membership from being charged again.

Once you've canceled, go to JustAnswer's help center, tell them you haven't heard back, and ask for a return for the service you didn't use.

As per their rules, registration fees are usually not refundable after a question has been answered. However, you can still make a claim if no expert answered at all.
