Joom wants me to pay return shipping internationally, how can I avoid losing my money?

If Joom is asking you to pay international return shipping, first check the return reason and policy shown on the order, because Joom usually requires the seller to cover returns only for defective, wrong, or not-as-described items.

If the return is marked as “no longer needed” or “customs refusal,” shipping costs are often pushed to the buyer.

To avoid losing money, do not ship anything yet and open a dispute in the app explaining clearly why the item should qualify for a free return or partial/full refund without return, especially if the cost is unreasonable compared to the item value.

In many cases, Joom offers a refund without return or a partial refund when international shipping is too expensive.
