I Can’t Temporarily Disable My Instagram Account—Final Step Fails Every Time

April 9, 2025 4:24 PM22

No matter what I try, I can’t freeze (temporarily disable) my Instagram account. I go through all the steps, and when I reach the final screen asking “Are you sure?”, I click yes, but nothing happens—it just doesn’t accept the request.

I’ve tried everything: different browsers, different devices (both phone and PC), and even multiple direct links to the deactivation page. Still, Instagram refuses to process the request. It’s beyond frustrating that such a basic feature just doesn’t work, and there’s no real person to contact for help.

Instagram, fix this now. If users want to take a break, they should be able to—without bugs and broken features. I need this resolved immediately.
