I Cannot Complete Instagram Face Verification Due to an Unexpected Error

My Instagram account was suspended on 14 June 2026, and since that day I have been unable to complete the face verification step required for the appeal. I use an Android phone with the Instagram app, and whenever I get to the face verification section, I repeatedly encounter an “unexpected error occurred” message and then a dead end. I have also tried again and again, but it tells me I am limited from doing so, and the process cannot be completed. After receiving the suspension email, I replied to the same Instagram email address to appeal, but I have not received any response so far. Because the face verification does not work and I am being limited from trying again, I am stuck in a loop where I cannot properly submit my appeal or prove my identity. I kindly request that my account be reviewed and reactivated if possible, and that I be clearly informed of the specific reason for the suspension. If face verification cannot be completed due to this error, I also ask that you provide an alternative method to verify my identity so that I can regain access to my account.
