Hypnozio Charged Me Without Warning and Refused Refund
I am writing about an unauthorized subscription renewal by Hypnozio that was processed through PayPal on 27 May 2026 for an amount of $66, while I am based in the UAE. The payment was taken as an automatic renewal for a Hypnozio subscription, even though I did not receive any reminder or warning email before the renewal date. I noticed the charge and requested cancellation and a refund within hours on the same day, 27 May 2026. Despite this, the amount was not refunded. In my communication with Hypnozio support (Alex), I first received a promise of a full refund, then I was told that the refund had been rejected, and later I was informed that they would respond via PayPal. I then opened a case with PayPal under transaction ID 8NV71937HD211171M, but the case was closed with the note that the transaction was processed correctly and I did not receive my money back. I consider this situation to be a subscription trap, as I was charged without any prior reminder, I canceled immediately, and I received contradictory information from support, yet no refund was issued. I request a full refund of the $66 charged on 27 May 2026 and the closure of my subscription so that no further payments will be taken from my account.
