Huawei P40 Lite Won't Work with Google Maps

I'm having some issues with my Huawei P40 Lite where apps like Disney Plus, Google Maps, and a few others just won't seem to open. Disney Plus is asking for an update, but it insists that it is already up-to-date on AppGallery. It's really annoying to have to deal with these unexplainable flaws. There's a major problem with Google Maps—it just doesn't display anything.

This is my second phone from Huawei. I never had any issues with my first device, but now I'm definitely going to choose a phone that runs Google services properly next time.
