Huawei MatePad 12X Repair Cost Is Nearly the Price of a New Tablet

I sent my Huawei MatePad 12X tablet to an authorized service center under warranty using service number IST01-OU-6348409. The service center informed me that there were issues with the device’s frame and motherboard and quoted me a repair cost of $418. Since this amount is nearly the price of a new tablet, I explained that I could not afford to pay it and specifically requested that only the frame be repaired.

However, the service center refused my request, stating that all of the affected parts had to be replaced together and that they could not perform the frame repair separately. I am asking for at least the frame to be repaired so that I can continue using the device, or for a reasonable and affordable price to be offered for this repair.

I request that Huawei and its authorized service center review my case again and take both customer satisfaction and the tablet’s current market value into consideration when providing me with a reasonable solution.
