Hong Kong Quxin Technology Limited Refund And Cancellation
I recently discovered two unauthorized debits linked to “Hong Kong Soouya Technology Limited,” even though I do not have an account with this company. On 6 March 2026, an amount of £0.30 GBP (approximately $0.38 USD) was taken, and on 7 March 2026, a further £38.98 GBP (approximately $49.80 USD) was debited. Both transactions appeared under the name “Hong Kong Soouya Technology Limited”. These payments seem to have occurred after I tried to connect my indoor boy keep camera to my phone. During the setup, I was instructed to install an app. After installing and opening the app, a notification popped up asking me to pay £0.30 and to input my phone number and email address. I assumed this was a small service fee related to the camera company, so I entered the requested details and completed the payment. The notification then closed and I continued with the registration process. I was never clearly informed that this would authorize any further payments or link me to “Hong Kong Soouya Technology Limited”, and I certainly did not consent to a charge of £38.98. I contacted PayPal about these debits and was advised to reach out directly to the merchant. However, I have not been able to find any valid contact details for Hong Kong Soouya Technology Limited, which makes it impossible for me to resolve this matter with them directly. I request a full refund of both debited amounts and that any future payments to “Hong Kong Soouya Technology Limited” be blocked immediately. I also ask that this merchant and the related transactions be investigated, as I did not knowingly agree to these charges and was not given transparent information or clear consent screens for such a payment.
