I recently noticed repeated $3.99 payment attempts from Hint America on my Cash App account starting around April 25. I have never signed up for any Hint America service, subscription, free trial, or product with this card or with any of my information, so these payment attempts are completely unauthorized. On Friday, Hint America also began attempting to charge my Cash App card for $29.99. These $29.99 payments were likewise declined because my card has been locked, but the fact that both $3.99 and $29.99 attempts are being made without my consent is extremely worrying. Although these transactions have been declined, I am very concerned that my payment details are being used without my consent. I want any existing records, subscriptions, or payment mandates related to my card or information to be immediately cancelled, blocked, or deleted so that no further payment requests can be made. I request that any money that may have been successfully charged or sent to Hint America under either amount be immediately refunded. In addition, I ask that Hint America and the relevant payment provider investigate these unauthorized attempts and review Hint America’s practices for possible fraud and unfair business conduct, as I have never given permission for these recurring attempts. I expect written confirmation that all future payment requests from Hint America, including both the $3.99 and $29.99 attempts, to my account have been fully blocked and that any improper charges have been reversed.
