Head & Shoulders Apple Shampoo Causes Sudden Facial Redness in Teen
On June 3, 2026, I bought a Head & Shoulders apple-scented shampoo from the Rossmann store in Şarampol, Antalya. I chose this product because my 14-year-old son has a dandruff problem. We had tried the menthol shampoo before, and it had been good for his hair, but we switched to the apple one because the menthol version was burning his eyes badly. We had just used the apple shampoo for the first time, and as soon as he got out of the shower, I saw that his face had turned bright red. His skin became suddenly and noticeably red.
Since it's evening right now, I haven't been able to take him to a doctor yet — I'm applying cream to his face and waiting for his skin to calm down. My son has never had this kind of allergic reaction or skin reaction with any shampoo before. This situation has caused me serious concern about the product's ingredients and possible side effects.
I want clearer and more visible warnings about the product's ingredients and possible side effects, and I want this matter to be treated seriously so that something similar doesn't happen to anyone else.
