Google Account Recovery Failed After Losing Old Phone Number

I have been unable to access my old Gmail account linked to Google for nearly two years due to a two-step verification issue. My account contains receipts and important documents, but I currently cannot access any of them.
When I try to sign in, the verification code for two-step verification is sent to an old phone number that is registered to the account. Since I no longer have access to that phone number, I cannot receive the code and therefore cannot log in to my account.
I have tried the “Try another way” option and gone through the account recovery steps many times, but the system keeps rejecting my request, stating that I cannot provide enough information. I have also been unable to reach a real support representative through Google’s support channels.
Because I no longer have access to my old phone number, I am requesting that two-step verification be disabled, or that my identity be verified using an alternative authentication method (such as my current phone number or other account information), so that I can regain access to my Gmail account.
