GeoZilla’s location tracking is inaccurate or shows wrong places, how can I fix that?

If GeoZilla’s location tracking is inaccurate and you want to fix wrong places shown;

Check location permissions;

• iPhone: Settings → Privacy → Location → GeoZilla → Set to “Always” + Enable Precise Location
• Android: Settings → Location → App permissions → GeoZilla → Allow all the time

Disable battery restrictions;

• iPhone: Settings → GeoZilla → Background App Refresh → On
• Android: Settings → Apps → GeoZilla → Battery → Unrestricted

Turn on high accuracy;

• Android: Enable Google Location Accuracy
• Keep Wi-Fi and mobile data on (even if not connected)

Improve GPS signal;

• Go outdoors for stronger signal
• Avoid underground areas or thick buildings
• Wait 1–2 minutes for GPS to stabilize

Restart services;

• Turn Location off → on
• Enable Airplane mode 30 seconds → off
• Restart phone

Update app and OS;

• Install latest GeoZilla version
• Update system software
