I’m sharing my experience with Gate.io to raise awareness about a confusing issue I encountered. For example, the Shib5long coin was priced at 0.0003500 last night but opened at 0.350000 this morning, showing a 1000% increase. This misleading price change tricks users into thinking the coin has risen significantly, but that’s not the case.
Gate.io removes leading zeros from the coin’s price, moving them to the end. This creates the illusion of a price increase, but in reality, the last three digits of your coin quantity are removed. As a result, the total value remains the same, and nothing has truly increased.
Please address this issue and provide transparency in how such changes are displayed. This creates confusion and misleads users into thinking they’ve gained when they haven’t.
