My Card Was Misused Then Sent to the Wrong Address by Garanti BBVA

Although my Garanti BBVA credit card was set to block all mail order transactions, a charge was made without my approval due to a security vulnerability. As a result, my card was cancelled. I requested a new card and clearly stated my current address, yet the bank sent the card to my old address via PTT, making it impossible for me to receive it. Since I didn’t have the physical card, I attempted to pay in installments via QR code at the cashier, but the BonusFlaş app kept showing errors and the transaction couldn’t be completed. I was forced to make the payment via NFC as a single transaction. When I contacted customer service after a 10-minute wait and explained the issue, the representative told me to delete and reinstall the app. I explained that the transaction was completed as a single payment due to the app malfunction and asked for it to be converted into installments. I was transferred to the card services team, but they said it couldn’t be done. I’ve repeatedly faced issues with Garanti BBVA’s app every month and no effective action is ever taken. Due to these ongoing problems and lack of accountability, I requested the cancellation of my card. I no longer wish to bank with an institution that consistently fails to provide reliable service or prioritize customer satisfaction.
