Garanti BBVA – Card Crisis & Customer Service Failure
On April 21st at 7:00 PM, I spoke with a Garanti BBVA representative named D*** regarding a major issue: all virtual cards have stopped working due to a system change. During the call, the line was abruptly cut off. When I called back, I was told the issue would be resolved “within 20 minutes.” Now we’re on day 2, and nothing has been fixed. The virtual cards are still not working. Meanwhile, our funds are locked, and customer service is completely unresponsive. This has been an incredibly frustrating experience. Garanti BBVA has shown no transparency, no urgency, and no accountability in resolving a system-wide failure. Today, I will be closing all of my accounts and withdrawing all funds. A bank that treats its customers this poorly is not a bank you can trust.
