Garanti Bank Kazasker Branch Rude Staff Issue
Unfortunately, despite being a private banking customer of Garanti Bank, I took ticket number 441 at the Istanbul Kadıköy Kazasker Branch at 10:55. Only 2 counters were open, and there was no one waiting in the bank. Counter 1 served someone without a ticket. I didn't say anything, but later, they served another person without a ticket. While I waited in the branch for about 30 minutes, at least 20 customers arrived after me. Rightly so, I objected to the situation. Despite repeatedly stating that transactions without a ticket were not allowed, the counter staff insisted that no one could interfere and continued the transaction, mocking me to my face. The customer without a ticket, whom I later learned was named A*****, deposited USD and Euro into the account. Despite standing at a safe distance (at least 2 meters) as can be seen from the camera footage, the counter officer at number 1 shamelessly told me to move away, claiming I was bothering them. Although the branch manager witnessed the incident due to the raised voices, he chose to defend the counter staff instead of intervening and allowed them to continue their duties without consequence. The customer who was served at counter number 1 after I took the ticket at 10:55 openly threatened me within the bank premises. Other customers and security intervened, and my safety was clearly threatened in the bank. You can verify the entire process through camera recordings. I lodge a complaint against the staff at counter 1 and the branch manager at the Kazasker branch. I've been a customer of the bank for approximately 25 years. I condemn your bank for subjecting me to such a situation. It's simply disgraceful. Despite writing a complaint to the head office and private banking, it has not been taken seriously, and there has been no response.
