Without my knowledge or consent, a Fitme subscription was activated on my Vodafone postpaid line through Payguru, resulting in unauthorized charges for two consecutive months. An additional 263 TL was added to my bill dated October 21, and another 263 TL was added to my bill dated November 21. In total, 526 TL was deducted from me without my approval through this entertainment and gaming service.
After noticing the issue, I contacted Vodafone customer service and had the unauthorized Fitme subscription canceled from my line. I then contacted Payguru, who confirmed that the subscription was canceled. However, neither Vodafone nor Payguru provided any assurance regarding a refund for the charges made without my permission; they simply stated that the subscription was canceled.
I have been negatively affected by this subscription added to my line without authorization, and by the extra charges reflected on my bill for two consecutive months. As a customer, I have lost significant trust in Vodafone, which failed to protect its users against such third-party services, and in Payguru for enabling this process. I would like to note that I plan to switch my line away from Vodafone as soon as my current plan ends.
I request a full refund of the additional charges applied to my bills on October 21 and November 21 due to this unauthorized Fitme subscription, as well as a clear explanation of how such unauthorized subscriptions can be activated in the first place.
