Pdf-billing.com Refuses $51 Refund After Converting One-Time Purchase to Auto-Renewal
On June 6, 2026, I purchased what was explicitly advertised as a single, one-time package for $1 on pdf-billing.com. During this purchase, I did not explicitly approve any subscription, automatic renewal, or recurring membership terms, nor did I see any notification to that effect.
Despite this, on June 20, 2026, I discovered that an unauthorized charge of $51 was made to my Halkbank credit card without my knowledge or consent. Even though I made a one-time purchase, this transaction appears to be a subscription billing initiated in my name without clear disclosure.
As soon as I noticed the issue, I contacted customer support via email. They informed me that my subscription was canceled and no further fees would be charged; however, they refused to refund the $51 charge, offering lifetime free access instead. Because I never knowingly agreed to such a subscription and saw no explicit auto-renewal warning, I do not consider this resolution adequate or fair.
I demand a full refund of the $51 charged to my card as a result of this unauthorized subscription. As a user residing in Çan, Çanakkale, I request that this unapproved deduction be investigated promptly, refunded to my card, and that necessary transparency steps be taken to prevent similar grievances in the future.
