Pdf-billing.com Charges Unauthorized $51 Renewal Fee After One-Time Purchase
On June 6, 2026, I purchased what was advertised as a one-time PDF converter service for $1 on pdf-billing.com. During the purchase, I was informed that I was only buying a single-use service, and I did not consent to any subscription, recurring membership, or automatic renewal terms.
Despite this, when I checked my credit card statement on June 20, 2026, I noticed an unauthorized charge of $51 made without my knowledge or consent. I have both the payment receipt and credit card statement on record.
As soon as I noticed the issue, I contacted customer support via email. They informed me that my subscription was canceled and that no further charges would be made, but stated that the $51 fee would not be refunded, offering lifetime free access instead. I do not accept this offer, and I strictly reject both this unauthorized subscription process and the amount deducted without my explicit consent.
No clear or explicit notice or warning regarding auto-renewal or future fees was provided during the transaction. Therefore, I demand the complete cancellation of this unauthorized subscription and a full refund of the $51 deducted from my credit card back to the original payment method.
