My poor cat got terribly ill after feeding him samples of the N&D dry cat food. They were the chicken & pomegranate and the boar & apple varieties. He was vomiting severely and feeling very lethargic, so I had to take him to the vet. The food smelled quite pungent when I opened it. I didn't think much of it at the time, as some cat food is quite strong-smelling. But when my cat started getting sick literally the day after I fed this food to him, I realised that the food must've been off or possibly even had some harmful or toxic ingredients. The head of Farmina in South Africa refuses to take any responsibility for this, even though there are several similar complaints I have encountered on several forums and articles on the internet. They just deny and dismiss everything. They will, however, offer you some more samples of their rotten food as an apology, which is absolutely ludicrous. Their main concern is "protecting their brand", not the health or well-being of your animals. I am very unhappy about this, and it could've been avoided. I wish I had never given my cat this food. He could've died. Avoid at all costs!
