On 17 April 2026, I mistakenly sent ₹200 via UPI from my FamPay account to a wrong UPI ID. The payment was completed to an unknown person and I realized the mistake only after the transaction was processed. I immediately contacted FamPay customer support and explained that this was an erroneous transfer to an incorrect UPI ID. The representative informed me that I should raise a complaint online, which I am now doing. I request FamPay to help me with reversal or recovery of this mistaken UPI payment, or to guide me with the official dispute/chargeback process so that I can try to retrieve my money. I also ask for a clear written response explaining what actions can be taken in this situation and what specific steps I should follow.
