FamPay Payment Sent to Wrong Person and Recipient Refuses Refund
I am writing to complain about a mistaken UPI transfer I made using Fampay on 03 March 2026 from my Fampay wallet balance. I accidentally sent approximately 499.98 (nearly five hundred) to the wrong person, who I now believe is a fraudster. After realizing the mistake, I contacted the recipient and requested that the money be returned, but they have not sent it back and have completely ignored my request. Because of this behavior and the fact that they are keeping money that was clearly sent by mistake, I consider this person to be acting fraudulently. I have already reached out to Fampay customer support about this issue, but have not received any response or help so far, which has left me very disappointed and worried about the safety of my funds on the platform. I kindly request that Fampay urgently review this transaction, block or restrict the fraudulent recipient if possible, and reverse the mistaken UPI transfer back to my Fampay wallet balance. I also ask to be informed in writing about the steps taken and the outcome of this case.
