Europcar Refused Carla’s Premium Protection — Paid Twice for Same Coverage

I rented a car in London through Carla and purchased the “Premium Protection” insurance package. The insurance description clearly stated that it covered all accidental damages — including windshield and tires — with no excess and at a lower cost than at the rental counter.

However, when I arrived at the Europcar office, I was told that the insurance I purchased through Carla was not valid, and I was forced to buy the same “Premium Protection” coverage again directly from Europcar. This resulted in me having to pay for duplicate insurance coverage.

Europcar fully recognizes the booking made through Carla, yet refuses to honor the insurance sold by Carla, which is extremely misleading. I have contacted Carla multiple times, but have not received any response or refund.

This situation constitutes misrepresentation and consumer deception. I request a full refund for the duplicate insurance payment and demand that appropriate action be taken against those responsible to prevent this from happening to other customers.
