On July 18, 2025, a charge of approximately $13 was made on my Akbank credit card under the name “epoch.com *funwithfe” without my knowledge or consent. This transaction is completely unauthorized and does not belong to me.
I have never shared my card information in any way, nor do I have any connection to suspicious transactions or websites. The fact that such a charge could be processed indicates a serious security vulnerability in Akbank’s card protection system.
As soon as I noticed the issue, I contacted Akbank customer service, had my card canceled, and filed a suspicious transaction report. However, the process has been extremely slow, and I have not received a satisfactory response. Customer representatives only refer to procedures and fail to provide a concrete solution.
I have been financially harmed due to this unauthorized transaction made without my knowledge or consent. I have no membership, registration, or purchase history with such websites. This issue is entirely the result of a security weakness on the bank’s side.
I request that my financial loss be resolved immediately, that the approximately $13 be refunded to me, and that Akbank review and strengthen its security systems to prevent similar incidents. Otherwise, I will pursue my legal rights and share this situation across all platforms.
