Epoch.com 206.39 DKK Card Reservation – Unauthorized Transaction Complaint
Today I noticed that a reservation for 206.39 DKK appeared on my Danish bank card with the description “epoch.com smbonline”. I have never opened an account with Epoch, I do not know this company at all, and for me “Epoch” is only a name I associate with kitchen cupboards, not with any online payments or services. According to the information I received, this reservation is marked as if I had used the card today, but at the time in question I was at work and did not use my phone or my card for any payments. I have not given anyone permission to charge or reserve any amount on my card, and I do not owe anyone the 206.39 DKK that is now being reserved. I consider this transaction to be unauthorized and potentially fraudulent. I request that this reservation be cancelled immediately, that no further attempts to charge my card be made, and that any existing or future charges linked to this transaction be fully blocked. I also request a written explanation of how this reservation was initiated on my card without my consent and what security measures will be taken to prevent this from happening again. If this situation is not resolved promptly and the reservation is not removed, I intend to report the matter to the police as a suspected case of fraud.
