My Rockstar Launcher Account Was Stolen and Support Won't Give It Back Despite My Proof
The verification email used to log into my Rockstar Launcher account was changed without my permission and my account was stolen. I had been using this account for a long time and had purchased the game through Epic Games. I discovered the problem around May 1 of this year, when I tried to log in and found that my verification email had been changed and I no longer had access.
I immediately went through the account recovery steps and contacted Rockstar support, explaining my situation in detail. Despite providing as much information as I possibly could to prove the account was mine, I was told they were unable to verify ownership and therefore could not return the account to me.
Having my long-standing account — the one linked to a game I purchased through Epic Games — compromised without my consent, and then being denied recovery despite all my efforts, has been deeply frustrating. I am requesting that a more thorough investigation be conducted by reviewing the account's security records and previous usage history, and that my account be returned to me through additional verification methods.
