I’m writing this because my Dyson Gen5 stick vacuum has turned into a real headache even though the issue was not caused by me. The red side seals, which I later learned are a known problem with Dyson, came off on their own, and now there is air leakage and a huge drop in suction power. It has reached a point where even a cheap ₺1,000 vacuum can almost match its suction on boost mode, which is really upsetting for a product I bought with high expectations. I contacted customer service many times, hoping for a proper explanation or a replacement, but I kept being told that those seals “don’t affect suction,” which clearly isn’t true in my experience. I bought this as a gift, thinking I was choosing something reliable, yet the whole situation left me feeling embarrassed and let down. I really expected better support from a brand like Dyson.
